“Of the Light” — derived from An-Nūr (النور), one of the 99 Beautiful Names of Allah, meaning The Light. The light in the name, the light in the logo, and the light in our vision are one and the same: nurtured here, carried by our students, and sent out to illuminate the world.

The Meaning
AMAN (أَمَان) means safety, peace, and security — the protected environment where light is nurtured. A child cannot carry light into the world without first being raised in a place of safety. That is what AMAN is.

Al-Madrasatu An-Nuriyyah is a weekend Islamic school dedicated to nurturing the next generation of Muslims through authentic Islamic education, strong character development, and meaningful connections with the Qur'an and Sunnah.
